Access to art should not just be about making it easier for people to witness the artistry around them, though jae[sic] productions is already contributing to that reality. Access to art should also be about making resources more available to artists to create, hone, and perform their craft. Our goal is to be a model and resource for the upstate NY region in what it looks like to give back to the community as much as we celebrate its artistry.

 

Sometimes as an artist, especially if you experience different kinds of marginalization, you can struggle in a world where making art is unaffordable. We want to make a world where fewer and fewer artists are put into that position. Our long-term development includes artist career coaching, longer-term artist residencies, free mentorship sessions, and time with industry leaders to make the connections people need to further their careers.

what sponsorship looks like

Sponsorship is a vital part of this community-building enterprise, so that we can start to build the structures we need long-term as the community enjoys the events we produce in the short-term. Any one-time gift goes towards our operating costs like paying performers, booking venues, buying equipment, etc. Any recurring gifts go toward long-term development. 

 

Sponsorship can look like money, but it can also look like donations of food, sound and lighting equipment, venue space, raffle items, etc. If you want to elevate the Rochester arts scene with us, we want to find a way for you to do it! We have some pre-made recurring sponsorship packages available below, or you can contact us to set up a customized collaboration. 

 

Sponsorship also goes both ways! If you are part of an organization or enterprise that directly impacts the community in alignment to our goals, we’d love to discuss what collaborating can look like to help raise money for you or even discuss partnership.
